Vetiver (EP)

released 7/11/25, premiered with Luna Collective with reviews from Under the Radar, B Side Guys and airplay on SiriusXM Tom Petty Radio.

Vetiver Days is a moody, groovy alt-rock song about scent, memory, and missed connections.

Leah is a defiantly buoyant breakup song about the importance of staying soft. This alt-rock song features gritty guitars, hypnotic vocals, pounding drums, and a DIY "theremin", mixed by Melina Duterte (Jay Som). Belle Shea deftly balances scorn with softness, and tempers hurt with hope on this tight uptempo 3 minute rock song.

Sundance Kid is exuberantly introspective alt-rock track about going to your best friend's party and realizing you don't want to be there any more. With an extended outro that feels like riding into the sunset, “Sundance Kid” balances modern indie pop production with a deep love for classic rock like Don Henley. The lyrics pull from the 1969 American western film classic, “Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid” as well as the universal heartbreak of wondering how someone you used to know so well can feel suddenly like a stranger.

Soft piano and delicate acoustic guitars back up this quiet queer love song.

pink moon spring

pink moon spring won American Songwriter’s 2023 May Flowers Songwriting Promotion, and was featured again in the magazine as one of the top 25 finalists in the 2023 Song Contest.

This alt-pop song about new love and beginnings is reminiscent of Taylor Swift, MUNA, and early Lorde with vocoded harmonies, sweeping strings and acoustic guitar.

All ownership 100% Belle Shea.
